The Friends of Gulfshore Ballet was established
in 2000 to support the Gulfshore Ballet school in its efforts to
bring the highest-quality dance instruction to Southwest Florida.
The group also seeks to help Gulfshore Ballet foster an increased
awareness of and interest in classical ballet as an important
component of the cultural offerings of this community.
In its short history, the Friends of Gulfshore Ballet has helped not
only to raise funds but also awareness of the top-quality
instruction and performance taking place at the ballet school.
Among its accomplishments are the establishment of a scholarship
fund for ballet students and the development of an outreach
program for public schools in the area.
As a nonprofit educational institution, Gulfshore Ballet must rely
on community support, as well as tuition income. We thank all
members of Friends of Gulfshore Ballet for their generous support by
renewing your annual membership. For those of you who have not
yet joined us, we hope you will consider becoming a new member.
